• Sent to Google's Gemini API for AI-powered nutrition analysis to estimate calories and nutrition information
• Associated with your user account and linked to your meal records
• Used to provide calorie estimates, nutrition breakdowns, and meal tracking features

You can choose not to take photos, and the App will function normally without photo analysis features.

2.2 Nutrition Data

We collect the following nutrition-related information:

• Calorie estimates generated by AI analysis or entered manually
• Nutrition breakdowns including protein, carbohydrates, fats, fiber, and sugar
• Food items and their amounts
• Meal history, duration, and preferences
• Hunger and satiety ratings

This data is stored in Cloud Firestore (Google Cloud Platform) and is associated with your user account.

2.3 Account Information

We collect the following account-related information:

• Email address (for authentication and account management)
• Meal tracking data (meal duration, meal types, timestamps)
• Background images (if you choose to upload them for personalization)

4.2 Google Gemini API

We use Google's Gemini API to analyze meal photos and estimate nutrition information. When you take a photo of your meal:

• Google's AI processes the image to identify food items and estimate calories and nutrition
• The analysis results are returned to our App and stored in your account

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

5.1 Who Can Access Your Data

• You: You can view, edit, and delete your own data at any time through the App
• App Administrators: Authorized administrators may access your data for technical support, debugging, maintenance, and to ensure the proper functioning of the App
• Google: As our service provider, Google has access to data stored on their servers (Firebase, Gemini API) in accordance with their privacy policy and terms of service

5.2 We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

• Account Deletion: You can delete your account through the App settings, which will permanently delete all your data

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account:

• All your meal records, photos, and nutrition data will be permanently deleted
• Deletion is typically completed within 30 days
• Some information may be retained in backup systems for a limited time for disaster recovery purposes

9. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using our App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries, including the United States where Google's servers are located.
